В отличие от большинства пассажиров «философского парохода», поднимаемые Бердяевым идеи персонализма и коммунитарности созвучны европейским духовным исканиям межвоенного и послевоенного времени, тогдашнему экзистенциальному и антропологическому повороту в философии. Популярность Бердяева, его погруженность в европейский философский контекст и модернистские теологические дискуссии, год от года будут только возрастать. Бердяев – один из немногих отечественных мыслителей, кто смог повлиять на интеллектуальную жизнь Европы. Пожалуй, только влияние Александра Кожева было более значительным.

Более того, в статьях и книгах 1940-х гг. Бердяев по сути проговаривает то, что в 1960-х в странах Европы будет привлекать всеобщее внимание под именем диалога между христианами и марксистами, что развернется в пору Второго Ватиканского собора и энциклик «красного» папы Иоанна XXIII.

«Поздний» Бердяев оказывается удивительно созвучным будущим крупнейшим европейским теологам левого толка (Юрген Мольтман и Иоганн Баптист Мец). Диалог 1960-х подразумевал «взаимное оплодотворение» марксизма и христианства. Все чаще высказывалось мнение, что атеизм — это не содержание, а всего лишь одна из исторических предпосылок марксизма, обусловленная идеологическим контекстом или временем его появления. Признавая социальную правду марксизма, упомянутые христианские богословы указывали на необходимость более глубокой разработки теории субъективности, способной раскрыть диалектику освобождения. Сами марксисты также осознавали, что детерминистских концепций, унаследованных от Энгельса и II Интернационала, с их дальнейшим упрощением в сталинистских компартиях, определенно недостаточно. The condition of immanent causality is a reading of philosophy itself as the immanent unfolding of ideas that are all the more important because they are pervasive, located not in this or that passage, but in the entirety of the work. To some extent Juan Domingo Sánchez Estop's Althusser et Spinoza: Détours et Retours does a similar work on Althusser, searching for Althusser's Spinozism not just in the few well known passages in the ISA essay, Lire Le Capital, and Elements of Self-Criticism where Spinoza is cited by name, but also in the way that Spinoza's thought or practice of philosophy traverses Althusser's work.

On 14 April, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson stood chatting to the reassuring blue uniforms of the Royal Navy with the White Cliffs of Dover clearly in view, courtesy of Downing Street TV. ‘Our compassion may be infinite,’ he said, ‘but our capacity to help people is not.’ On the same day and in tandem, his home secretary Priti Patel was visiting Rwanda to sign an agreement with foreign minister Vincent Biruta. Although details remain scant, the deal means that many refugees arriving in Britain will be sent to Rwanda while their asylum claims are assessed. If their application is successful, they will gain the right to settle in Rwanda. The expulsions could begin in weeks.

Johnson’s late-evening announcement ensured that the policy was emblazoned on the newsstands the next morning. ‘UK Migrants Off to Rwanda’, barked The Sun, the ‘off’ faintly suggesting that this was a journey the migrants would be making ‘off their own back’. The Mail adopted its usual tone of righteous aggression, proclaiming ‘Rwanda Plan to Smash the Channel Gangs’. Meanwhile, headlines in the Times and Telegraph were almost identically bland – ‘Channel Boat Migrants Will Be Sent to Rwanda’; ‘Channel Migrants To Be Sent to Rwanda’ – as if Patel’s programme were no more than a simple, technical solution to the ‘migration crisis’.

Классовый анализ, социальная история, социология соцстран отданы на откуп академической науке, а крупные исследования из левой среды выходят нечасто. Факт удручающий, потому что классовый анализ — ключевая часть исторического материализма и без него не обойтись.

Однако не всё так плохо. Год назад в издательстве «Горизонталь» вышла книга Максима Лебского «Рабочий класс СССР: жизнь в условиях промышленного патернализма», в которой он исследует советский рабочий класс и то, каким образом на него повлияла Косыгинская реформа.
Максим пытается понять, почему рабочий класс отказался бороться за советский строй, и для этого он рассматривает этапы, по которым развивалась система распределения на предприятиях.

Он считает, что Косыгинская реформа стала поворотным моментом в процессе образования советского рабочего класса. До Косыгинской реформы труд рабочего и его жизнь были в большей степени связаны с обществом, а после неё с предприятием и его коллективом.
