What could life be like on Titan?

Titan is one of the most interesting objects to study in the solar system, having been discovered in 1655 by the famous astronomer Christiaan Huygens.

Although the diameter of this Saturn satellite is even larger than that of the full-fledged planet Mercury, the force of gravity in this frozen world is only one-seventh of Earth's.

This fact could mean that if you find yourself on Titan one day, you could fly with a pair of makeshift wings on your back.

NASA announces the recruitment of a research team to study UFOs

NASA intends to organize an independent group of researchers to study unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAP.

That's an updated term that is used to refer to UFOs.

NASA claims the study is set to take about nine months. Although the agency stressed that no evidence of an extraterrestrial origin of UAP is available.

In weightlessness, the tears never flow.

There's nothing pulling them down your cheek and chin.

If you don't remove them, they're just a gradually growing bubble of brackish water, kept on the eye and skin by surface tension.

Binary stars

*The term "binary" system is used to refer to pairs of stars orbiting around a common center of mass.

Such duos can consist of both counterparts of the Sun and more exotic objects, such as neutron stars or even black holes.

Lunar Tail

The lunar tail and the sodium spot were first discovered in the late 1990s. Since then, it has been observed that the slick changes its brightness.

Bombardment of the Moon by meteoroids and high-energy solar wind particles releases sodium atoms from the regolith.

These, in turn, are collected by the solar wind in a kind of tail that extends almost 800,000 km behind our satellite.

Dark matter may increase the temperature of planets

Astrophysicists thought that dark matter could be some kind of primordial matter surrounding every galaxy after the Big Bang. However, it has yet to be discovered. To find it, astrophysicists intend to use exoplanets.

It turns out that dark matter penetrates the cores of exoplanets and produces large amounts of heat. Thanks to this, the temperature on their surfaces rises.

After all, an exoplanet must first cool down after its birth in an explosion.

The first photo of Uranus, depicting its glow in the X-ray range.

The reasons for the glow remain a mystery to scientists - perhaps, the answer lies in the polar lights of the ice giant.
