Fifteen years ago, Street View began as Google co-founder Larry Page's idea for a 360-degree map of the world. To date, Street View has published more than 220 billion images from more than 100 countries around the world.

Now the ability to view street photos is available on mobile devices with Android and iOS. Previously, this tool was present only in the desktop version of the service. In addition, images for display in Street View are created with the help of new cameras.
