When sorting orders, the robots identify the point of onward transport: An employee places a parcel on the robot, and the reading device above it recognizes the barcode with the address and the zip code. The system gives the robot the command to unload the parcel into the right box, after which the items go to the courier delivery company in the city.

According to test results, the cost of processing orders has dropped by up to 4 times, and the speed has increased by up to 8 times.

The study by the German Aerospace Center involved two LRU rovers, the Interact moon rover and the Scout rover. They are able to work together in autonomous mode and perform their tasks without human intervention.

During the tests, LRU1 evaluated soil samples with its cameras and acted as a researcher. The second rover worked as an "assistant" - collecting soil samples, analyzing their composition and providing the main robot with Wi-Fi network.

NVIDIA and Stanford University (https://nvlabs.github.io/eg3d/) have developed an EG3D neural network that generates realistic 2D images and then converts them into 3D objects. It can even be used on laptops with high-end graphics cards.

EG3D can recreate realistic and detailed faces of people, including famous personalities. The neural network also supports other objects.

The 800-meter-long bridge was built to improve communication between China and Southeast Asia. It will reduce the travel time between the cities of Yuxi and Chuxiong from one and a half hours to two minutes.

The location of the bridge is a special feature - it's spread out between incredibly steep cliffs. To attach the steel cables to the bridge, the builders had to drill 100 meters into the rock. The workers were able to complete the work in three years by using special construction robots.

Researchers at NIST have developed a new type of artificial intelligence hardware that can consume less energy and run faster - and it already knows how to virtually taste wines.

The team trained the network using 148 wines made from three types of grapes. Each virtual wine had 13 characteristics to consider: alcohol degree, color, alkalinity and magnesium.

The AI then ran a virtual test with a data set that included 30 unknown wines. The accuracy of the system was 95.3%.

The semi-automated system includes a sensor in the ball, which transmits its position to the field at 500 times per second, and 12 tracking cameras installed under the roof of the stadium.

The system uses machine learning to track 29 points on the players' bodies with the cameras. The software will make it possible to record offside positions based on this data.
