Oh my, I'd really love to visit Spain, Portugal and Italy but I need a visa to go there, and taking into account everything that's happening right now I decided not to go for it this time.
So, I'm in Istanbul now
It's the first time I've visited this city, so I had no idea what to expect whatsoever. After spending a whole week here I can say that Istanbul is very exotic and so different from any other place I've been to.
The most impressive thing I've seen here is the Topkapi Palace. The mosaics are truly mesmerising! Just look at the photos - aren't these patterns hypnotising? My hubby had to drag me out of there or I'd've stayed there forever
The only downside is the weather. August is definitely not the best time to go to Istanbul if you, like me, struggle with heat, especially combined with humidity Oh well.
