New people keep joining the channel and I’d like to make it explicitly obvious as for how you can maximize the value you get from this channel and increase the number of opportunities you are applying for.
1) Search for the title of the job that you are looking for? E.g “designer”, odds are that the companies that had those jobs previously happen to be hiring for similar roles again.
2) Go through websites of the companies I’ve shared earlier and check if they have any open positions you are interested in.
From time to time I do a shoutout for companies that have talked about before and today is such a day. Today is for Hotjar. They are building a Behavior Analytics software for businesses selling online. Most of the roles are for people based in UTC-1 to UTC+3 but there is one based in the US — Site Reliability Engineer.
