Tesla has received a patent for an automatic tire inflation system (ATIS) for the Tesla Semi The system can monitor the pressure in the tires and inflate them if the pressure drops.
Tesla reports that their development solved the shortcomings of current
ATIS systems, greatly improving its reliability.
