one of my favorite concerti, Gershwin’s Rhapsody, is, probably, the most famous American concerto.

We recorded this video in New York and, as I recall, we only did two takes without any rehearsals, but I really like how it turned out. This was Gershwin’s original arrangement for a small orchestra and to have instrument chairs from the top American orchestras (Philadelphia, Cleveland, New York, Los Angeles) all come together for this one recording was something truly special. And each instrument sounded just perfect. I enjoyed it and I hope you guys do as well...
