So many women want their “conscious king,” but in reality we are terrified.

Because of our conditioning with the opposite sex, we tend to come into relationship ready to fight an opponent, as if we are in competition for our needs, desires, and empowerment.

What if there is another way? What if instead of competing with the same energy, we organized into our individual, polarized energies in such a way that it feeds each other?

Rather than trying to be equally the same- as modern feminism has fought so hard to ensure- we celebrated our differences and recognized the energy needs and desires of our partners?

What I’ve learned is that control and intimacy cannot exist at the same time. The true path to the ultimate connection we are craving as women, is surrender.
By allowing men to guide and lead, and choosing to trust them knowing that in the end we always retain the power of choice, we shift the dynamic away from criticism and towards support.
