Caramel Apples with Chocolate and Nuts

Ingredients:

• large apple - 2 units
• chocolate - 100g
• coconut oil - 1 tbsp.
• sugar - 400g
• chopped nuts - 100g
• ice cream sticks

Method:

1. Cut apples into slices. Remove seeds.
2. Melt chocolate in the microwave for 2 minutes. Mix with the coconut oil until smooth.
3. Place the apple slices on a baking tray. Stick an ice cream stick into each apple slice. Pour the melted chocolate over it.
4. In a small saucepan, heat the sugar until dissolved, stirring constantly. Pour the caramel over the apples. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
5. Put in the fridge for about 1 hour.
