Changes in the market of fresh mushrooms in Russia for 2020.
In recent years, the production of cultivated mushrooms in Russia has been steadily growing. Domestic production increased by 62 % and amounted to 100,622 tons. Imports decreased by 21 %, being, according to the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, at the level of 19,700 tons. 90% of all imports were mushrooms from Belarus. The volume of deliveries of fresh mushrooms to the Russian market increased by 32% in 2020 and amounted to 116,622 tons.
There were exports in the amount of 3,700 tons. Basically, this is a non-standard for processing. There was a supply to domestic food production for processing in the amount of 1,300 tons.
Per capita consumption of fresh mushrooms increased by 33 % and amounted to 0.8 kg per person per year. This is still one of the low... ...
