#EPAM_English
Learning & Development
‘BE + V3’.
improve,
increase,
decrease,
change,
drop,
break и др. Например:
I improved my knowledge of English. (active voice)
My knowledge of English improved. (more natural than 'was improved')
I broke my new phone just minutes after I bought it. (active)
My phone broke when I tried to install a new app. (NOT was broken)
I managed to decrease the number of my grammar mistakes. (active)
The number of my grammar mistakes has decreased. (NOT has been decreased)
I dropped my computer when I was trying to clean it. (active)
My computer dropped to the floor and broke into pieces. (NOT was dropped, NOT was broken)
We increased the cost of the project when new requirements had been given by the customer. (active)
The cost of the project has increased dramatically since it began. (NOT has been increased)
