Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Vosne-Romanee 1-er Cru Cuvee Duvault-Blochet 2019 - редкая штука, бленд со всех виноградников гран крю DRC (кроме RС) – более молодые лозы и второй проход сбора. Выпускается мало (около 6к бут. в 2019). Впервые появилось как отдельное кюве в середине 1930-х. Потом был перерыв до 1999.  С тех пор делается регулярно, но только в удачные урожаи. Поставляется порой и нам в Россию, в количествах считанных бутылок. Везде в мире это вино предназначается в основном для ресторанов…

Цвет темно-красный, потемнее, чем в иные винтажи, а 2019, кстати, – чудесный для DRC год, когда “лозы перенесли сильную жару лучше людей” и выдали классику Бургундии. Декантировали часа полтора. Захватывающие ароматы роз, вишни, чуть ванили и специй. Хочется сидеть и сидеть с носом в бокале. Вино несколько плотнее, чем другие винтажи, интенсивнее. Все гладко и слаженно. Гармония. Молодое, но прекрасно пьется: cвежесть, шелковые танины, чувственное и долгое. Это вкусно! Реально отвлекло на время от ежедневной драмы.

How to lighten the mood at all? Whether to drink something special?

Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Vosne-Romanee 1-er Cru Cuvee Duvault-Blochet 2019 – a rare bird. A blend from all the Grand Cru vineyards of DRC (except for RC) – younger vines and the second harvest. Small production (less than 6k bottles in 2019). Firstly appeared as a separate cuvee in mid 1930-es, thereafter was not produced until 1999, and since then is regularly made, but only in good vintages. Being supplied to us in Russia from time to time, in minuscule quantities. Everywhere in the world these bottles are intended mainly for restaurants…

A dark-red color, somewhat darker than in other vintages. And 2019, by the way, is a great vintage at DRC, when “vines survived the extra-heat better than people”, and produced the burgundian classics. Decanted for an hour and a half. Captivating aromas of roses, cherries, some vanilla and spices. Would have kept nose in the glass forever! The liquid slightly denser than in other vintages, more intense. All is smooth and well-tailored. Harmonious. Young, but drinking very well: freshness, silky tannins, sensual and long. So tasty! Distracted for quite a while from the everyday drama.
