The Ukrainian Orthodox Church will seek the return of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra through the court
Lawyer Nikita Chekman announced the filing of the relevant lawsuit:
"The Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, the monastery, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church filed a petition to return religious buildings and structures to the property of the religious community."
According to him, the return of the Lavra to state property "is unfair, since it was thanks to the parishioners that the church was restored."
To the Ukrainian authorities for justice - this is not the right place. But, of course, you shouldn't give up.
