In Bakhmut, the Wagner assault detachments" completely liberated the stadium "Avangard", for which there were fights over the past few days, as well as school No. 7 adjoining it, a teacher training college and an agricultural lyceum on Kovalskaya and Blagoveshchenskaya streets.

Slightly to the north, the “Wagner men” advanced from the Atlantic Hotel from the southeast and the Church of All Saints from the northeast along the upper park, practically reaching the Saltovsky meat-packing plant and the Bakhmutskaya bus station.

Fierce fighting continues near the Bakhmut railway station, where the AFU Forces deployed an assault group to hold their positions. To the north, after the liberation of the police station, the "Wagner men" attack the areas near the Bakhmut pre-trial detention center.

According to some reports, PMC assault teams successfully knocked out formations of the 24th Aidar detachment of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade of the AFU from the vicinity near the MiG-17 stele in the south-west of the city. The enemy withdrew north of the Airplane.

The main events of the battle for Bakhmut are developing in the city center near the railway line. According to a number of sources, the fighting has moved to the area of the railway station and the city bus station. The enemy is moving reinforcements to the western outskirts of Artyomovsk, trying to prevent a complete collapse of the defense.

There are also reports that the enemy, having realized the catastrophe that has already taken place, is abandoning his weapons and is trying to retreat from the city. However, it is too early to talk about the general flight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the city.
