I've been working on the USS Kidd UFO case since last April. One of the lines of research that revealed the huge event, which has not been explained, is FOIA. The Kidd's deck logs showed for the first time that unexplained lights, UAV, and unknown drones approached the ship. From those logs, we expanded to nearby navy vessels. Marc Cecotti and Adam Kehoe got interested in the case and also located more documents. Adam used US Coast Guard transponder data to plot many of the vessel's locations that month. So far we have USS Kidd, USS Finn, USS Russel, USS Omaha, USS Rafel Peralta, USS Hamilton, USS Gabriel Giffords, USS Bunker Hill, USS Roosevelt, and many others.
You recall the Jeremy Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell released stills and footage from the USS Omaha and USS Russel.
The USS Omaha is an LCS, a relatively small warship trimaran, with the mission of patrolling coastal waters. The footage of a FLIR object that is being tracked and slashing into the water is part of this larger UAV, sighting.
When I first got the FOIA deck logs from Omaha, I was surprised as the navy modified my FOIA, without notifying me from July 13 on to July 20th on. Viewing the log from the 20th onward it became clear the vessel was in port in San Diego, tied up at the pier, and remained there. If it was out in the OPAREA filming UFO's it must have been there during the missing logs. My appeal of the FOIA was successful and the JAG ordered the navy to produce the logs or explain why they were missing.
These logs are produced on the bridge of the vessel by the Boatswains Mates and list all orders of movement - speed heading, mechanical conditions, and observations from the deck. For every minute, every day 24/7. Most vessels use a standard naval form for this purpose.
Yesterday I received word the navy was answering the appeal. In essence, they said the logs are missing. Lost. Gone. That they had contacted the Omaha and they looked around and couldn't find them. They also said Omaha does not use written logs like other navy ships. That they use voice recordings for the logs. I found this strange since the same vessel is using pen on paper logs as soon as July 20th hits when my first FOIA arrived.
As you can see, the logs from that date look like every other ship log I've ever seen. So Omaha's logs just from the week of the UAV sightings are missing. And her sister LCS, The USS Gabriel Giffords is also missing. The Giffords looks just like the Omaha and they were in similar areas that month. One other interesting fact, both vessels turned off their transponders right before the sightings, and they turn back on right after. Coincidence? Or anticipation? You be the judge. Somethings fishy in River City.
