Our girls are more educated than boys
After the results of this year's tests were announced, it became possible to analyze various interesting statistics.
In particular, the share of women among applicants this year was higher than that of men. 571 thousand 719 applicants were women and 502 thousand 103 were men.
In addition, the average scores of our girls showed a better result than boys. Girls got an average of 66.8 points, and boys got 63.7 points.
Also, in all 14 regions of our republic, the average score of girls was higher than that of boys. Not only in one region, but everywhere in our country, girls have a better mastery rate than boys.
It is noteworthy that in no area did the boys score an average of 70 points. But girls in Bukhara (72) and Tashkent (70.8) scored more than 70 points on average.
I would like to remind you that last year 60% of the students were women. Today, 47% of students studying in all higher education institutions are women.
