Moving art pieces requires expertise, skill, and care - whether a client is relocating a Chagall masterpiece or a beloved child’s artwork. Intermark has been very busy consulting on and moving important pieces out of Russia.

Art that is more than 100 years old or more cannot be moved out of Russia. Art pieces that are 50 to 100 years old can be moved; the client will need to pay a fee equivalent to the cost of the painting and obtain special permission from Ministry of Culture.

If the painting has no value deemed by a modern art expert, it can be moved with art authentication expert permission. Such kind of permission takes up to 5 days.
