Allen Davenport is the Professional Learning and Development Manager in the Southeast Asia Region at Cambridge University Press. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology and linguistics and a Master’s degree in education with a focus in academic counselling and student development. Allen has been involved in English language teaching for more than 15 years in various roles including teacher, academic director, certified examiner for multiple assessment organisations, and teacher trainer. Allen’s current interests involve integrating creativity into the classroom and investigating how English language teaching is adapting to suit the needs of the 21st-century learner.
