She first trained under a professional potter, at wheel throwing by master potter Bunsho (in Imari) , She study porcelain painting under a master Miyazaki Tosato. Her style combines the best of classical Imari style figure landscapes animals children and geometric patterns painting in the style of the Chinese Nanga school with a distinctly feminine touch. She passed away in 2005.
