The dolaGon autonomous ski elevator prototype is unveiled

On ski slopes, there can often be a lack of personnel and elevators to take skiers back to the slope. The dolaGon autonomous elevator was designed with this problem in mind, as it follows skiers down the slope and then returns them to the top for another descent.

The idea is for the dolaGon to first pick up a group of skiers from the base station, then autonomously work its way along pre-designed trails, bringing the skiers to the summit. It would use GPS for orientation and LiDAR for obstacle avoidance.
