The InSight mission team released the final selfies of the vehicle

The selfies give a vivid picture of the spacecraft's desperate power situation. Its casing and solar panels are covered with a thick layer of dust. Thanks to it, InSight now generates ten times less power than it did immediately after landing on Mars in late November 2018.

In an effort to save energy and maximize Insight's lifespan, engineers began gradually shutting down the vehicle's systems and instruments, including its manipulator, which was used to take self-portraits.
