Russia will build a merchant fleet for Iran and will receive gas turbines in return
 
Russia and Iran will build ships for the Caspian Sea together. This was agreed by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Iranian Industry Minister Fatemi Amin.
 
Iran needs merchant ships in the Caspian Sea, given the growth of trade turnover. In 4 years, Iran wants to double its Caspian merchant fleet by purchasing and building 50 new vessels (13 of them will be received from Russia). 
 
The ships built by Russia will carry Iranian exports — from building materials to fruits and dairy products.
