DevOps engineer
Description:
DBS-H is looking for a DevOps engineer to develop and execute product deployment process, exploratory tests as well as automated tests in order to ensure product quality.
DevOps engineer will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs.
As a DevOps Engineer you will estimate, plan, and coordinate product deployment on a customer site and testing activities. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our bug tracking system.
You will work in a team with the back-end and front-end developers.
Responsibilities:
Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely
and meaningful feedback
Provide 2nd and 3d level support to the deployed product on a customer site
Conduct periodical visit on a customer sites upon request
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate customer support activities
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured end to end test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Participate in meetings & reviews with customers and team members
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Skills:
Solid knowledge in a Linux OS (system level) and bash scripting
Knowledge in legacy databases Db2/Oracle/MSSQL databases is a plus
Experience with data replication tools IIDR, Attunity, GoldenGate is a plus
Experience with Ruby or Python is a plus
Proven working experience with enterprise level customers
DevOps knowledge (Jenkins, CI/CD, Git ) is a plus
Strong verbal and written skills in English
