Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on January 10
Ukrainian formations have once again launched an artillery strike on the territory of
Shebekinsky District.
As a result of the overnight shelling, several residential buildings, cars and power lines were damaged in the town.
Intense artillery duels are taking place in
Lyman sector. Russian troops are striking at the identified AFU positions.
At the same time, Ukrainian formations are shelling
Kreminna on a massive scale. Houses and municipal infrastructure are damaged and the city is partially de-energized.
In
Soledar, Wagner's PMC units have occupied the central quarters of the city and reached the western outskirts, effectively closing the ring of encirclement
At the same time, Russian forces are developing offensive on
Sіlj railway station.
To the north of Bakhmut, Russian forces are fighting near
Krasna Hora and developing offensive to the south.
The loss of
Blahodatne will be the final point in the encirclement and defeat of AFU Soledar grouping.
The battle for
Bakhmut continues. Wagner's PMC units are engaged in heavy street battles in the eastern quarters of the town.
At the same time, Russian forces have stepped up pressure on the southern flank. Advancing units have broken through AFU defences and entered
Klishchiivka.
Ukrainian formations once again shelled Kirovsky and Leninsky districts of
Donetsk.
As a result of the strikes one person was killed and nine were wounded. Residential buildings and urban infrastructure were damaged.
After a short operational pause following the capture of Pavlivka, fighting resumed near
Vuhledar.
Units of the Far Eastern Marines are conducting reconnaissance and engaging defensive positions of AFU.
