The children learned that there are people from outside of the family that we can trust to ask for help.
The children learned about people who help us within the wider community. We played a variety of role playing games and looked at different situations and discussed the specific roles of people who help: police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, and teachers.
Learning about these different roles is important for our young learners as it develops and fosters the ideals of community and trust.
