During our kindergarten assembly, Year 1 GG explored The Year as a Journey. They talked about everything that they have learned throughout the past academic year and focused on the topics that were the most important. These topics were spelling and reading. They considered reading to be their favorite of all the English topics, therefore based the assembly on 'Why We Love to Read'. The assembly was opened by reciting a short poem about Reading, followed by a short video where each student explained why reading is important, and finally ending with a fun song called 'I love to Read!
