Today the free world is united in assistance and solidarity for Ukraine to defeat the russian war criminals. Ukrainians en masse learn English to communicate with foreigners, while Ukrainian language is still terra incognita even for most of the polyglots. Annually, on the third Thursday of May (which is right today) Ukrainians all over the globe celebrate Vyshyvanka Day (День вишиванки)! This holiday is aimed at the preservation of Ukrainian folk traditions in general, however, vyshyvanka is the most recognizable amongst them! Hence, it's today's word to get acquainted with!
