A book called “Modern Genocides” - intended for high school students - has been rejected for its discussion of “special topics” which are prohibited by the state, in which social justice and critical race theory are listed.

A social studies textbook for grades 6-8 also had to change a reference to the Hebrew Bible to meet standards as it asked students to identify key social justice issues contained within the religious text - a question the state dubbed ‘politically charged’.

Many Jewish scholars claim that recent changes to the law regarding education could threaten Jewish Studies - but Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill requiring schools to certify they teach about the Holocaust, and banned educators from making children feel guilt or shame over historical events. A logical equivalent of this theory is that some catastrophic cosmic phenomenon is likely preventing life’s expansion throughout the universe.

“This could be a naturally occurring event, or more disconcertingly, something that intelligent beings do to themselves that leads to their own extinction,” wrote study author Mark Bailey from the National Intelligence University (NIU) in the US.

The new research theorised that AI advancement may be the exact kind of catastrophic risk event that could potentially wipe out entire civilisations.
