W. O. McGeehan (1879-1933) was an American sports journalist and editor of the New York Herald Tribune. He served in the army during the Spanish–American War and worked as a correspondent in San Francisco before moving to the East Coast. He wrote about various sports, especially boxing, as well as his travels in Europe and Asia. He was married to writer and playwright Sophie Treadwell.
