Baghdad on fire: Today, August 30, 2022, after the Iraqi political crisis spiraled out of control and ended up becoming a terrifyingly violent scene and heavy armed fighting spread across the Capital, Sadrist Militants continued the siege of the Iraqi Capital's Central and International Zone, the Green Zone of Baghdad.
Over the last 2 hours, on Iraqi social networks — whether these are netizens and media against, neutral or in favor of the belligerent factions in the Capital and in the southern centers of the country — they reported that Sadrist Militias began to attack columns of armored vehicles with heavy machine guns and RPG7 that were moving in the central areas of Baghdad, in the midst of heavy fighting between the Nationalists and the Government Forces.
