I always see someone telling „those aren’t people, what they do is inhumane!“ when they hear about someone’s terrible deeds.
The sad truth is that who else did it? Clearly a human being. Yes, humans do adorable things like paintings, symphonies, science, charity, healing others and supporting others and etc. But also humans do war, genocide, torture, and any other type of violence. They are not different creatures, they’re the same species. More uncomfortable truth: sometimes it can even be the same person.
It’s shit to acknowledge, but somehow we kind of have to. Why?
