recently I got one additional student by mistake in Skyeng. (i didn't want more students, there is a long dull story why it happend: my other student wanted a long vacation but that was possible only with her removal from my timetable, and they added this student to the timetable to the free slots almost immediately) First days after I saw the new student, my reaction was literally "if i ignore it, it will go away". But then there was a time of our first lesson and i decided to tell him about the mistake during the class and abandon him. i even discussed it with another teacher and received some support.

well! during the first lesson i was so eager to be a good person that i didn't tell him about anything. and the more amount of time passes by the harder it is to confess about my plans.
