Requirements:
Education: a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences, International Relations, Middle East and North African Studies, or another relevant major from an accredited institution. Master’s or a Doctorate degree is an asset
Knowledge: must have a solid background in political research and a minimum 6 years of proven working experience in a relevant field
Languages: Advanced level of both Russian and English languages is a must-have. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset
Computer Skills: advanced software skills, using Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel/Spreadsheets, Access/Database Development, and PowerPoint
to have top-notch analytical and critical thinking skills, a strong command of statistics, and solid research skills.
Responsibilities:
Conducting research on political situation in the Middle East and North Africa region and the Russian Federation and analyzing government policies and political trends;
Studying the development of political systems and various political subjects;
Monitoring current events, policy decisions, and legislation changes in MENA region as well as in the Russian Federation;
Evaluating the effects of policies and laws on government and people;
Forecasting political trends, evaluating cultures, values, and political ideologies;
Presenting unbiased research results by writing reports, giving presentations, and publishing articles.
