Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on August 13-15, 2022

Russian Armed Forces hit AFU stronghold near the village of Yunakivka in Sumy Region.

Russian units liberated the villages of Udy and Odnorobivka in the northern Kharkiv Region.

In the evening of August 13th, near Slovyansk, Russian Aerospace Forces' fighter aircraft shot down AFU's Su-25 assault aircraft flying from the direction of Druzhkivka.

On August 14th, Wagner's PMC units liberated the village of Vershyna and reached the outskirts of a major AFU strongpoint in Zaitseve, on the southern approaches to Bakhmut.

On the night of August 13-14th, HIMARS MLRS located in Bakhmut struck Wagner's PMC's base during the command meeting in the southwest of Popasna. Russian PMC's command, including oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin, survived.

DPR People’s Militia units liberated Pisky, AFU's powerful stronghold. The enemy still controls the positions near a road junction.

Allied Forces continue their advancement in the direction of Mar'inka and Netailove. Russian artillery hit AFU's stronghold in Nevel's'ke. Russian Aerospace Forces bombed targets in Krasnohorivka.

Ukrainian artillery shells and remotely mines the cities of the Donetsk agglomeration on a daily basis. Several civilians were killed.

Near Pavlivka, a Russian Ka-52 helicopter supporting the advancement of Russian Armed Forces and DPR People’s Militia made an emergency landing. The crew is safe and evacuated to the rear.

Ukrainian formations shelled Energodar and the territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, including the area around Unit 6. British-supplied Brimstone missiles were used alongside the other means.

AFU shelled Antonivsʹkyy Bridge in Kherson once again. Air defence shot down most of the missiles.
