Job Purpose: The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading the Software development team to deliver projects with maximum transparency and predictability. The IT Project Manager will troubleshoot and resolve issues to deliver a safe & effective result that meets external and internal customer requirements.
The IT Project Manager will assume responsibility for and will be required to support projects, and will involve managing other team members to ensure all procedures and tasks, are carried out to the highest standard.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Build, manage, maintain and extend relationships across the department in a heavily matrixed environment and with all project stakeholders.
Daily:- Activity and resource planning;
- Organizing and motivating a project team;
- Controlling time management;
- Analyzing and managing project risk;
- Cost estimating and developing the budget;
- Ensuring customer satisfaction;
- Monitoring progress;
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques;
- Write specifications for the scope of work;
- Create and present presentations;
- Managing reports and necessary documentation.
Person Specification:- Have a well-developed sense of self-accountability;
- Ability to function in an interrupt-driven environment handle multiple issues and/or responsibilities and meet deadlines without reminders;
- Must be available to meet the operational needs of the business;
- Responsible and reliable, capable of working alone as well as part of team;
- Must have excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong business orientation focus;
- Must have critical thinking ability, problem-solving, appropriate judgment and decision making skills;
- Flexible and adaptable to change, to meet the needs of the product management team;
- Motivated team player;
- A natural leader.
Experience / qualifications:- B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience preferred but NOT essential;
- 3+ years’ experience in Project Management;
- Ability to travel globally;
- Flexible approach to working hours to cover any ongoing project requirements;
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite;
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proven organizational skills;
- Fluent in spoken & written English.
