Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant to join Business Tax Group within the Tax & Legal Department at the Tashkent office.

The role will involve:
⠀
•Supervise the work of junior staff on various tax projects and report to senior personnel
•Participate in various tax projects, prepare tax recommendations, advices, reports, memoranda and other deliverables
•Analyse and keep track of the tax legislative changes, state authorities’ opinions and relevant tax and legal publications, and communicate with the tax authorities and clients where applicable
•Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with our clients

Requirements:
⠀
•Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics. •Tax-specific education and/or study at a foreign university would be considered a plus
•ACCA, CPA, CFA or similar qualifications (or obtaining qualification in progress) and accreditations preferred
•3–4 years of tax consulting or accounting experience preferably in Big4
•Solid knowledge of Uzbekistani tax legislation and exposure to cross-border taxation issues
•Competence in tax technical process knowledge
•Fluent spoken and written Russian and English
•Strong tax technical writing and analytical skills
•Good analytical, organizational, delegating and coaching skills
•Ability to supervise several projects simultaneously
•Good team player, quick learner and motivated to professional development and career growth
