The Indian business Alliance told about the plans for the development of pharmaceutical business in Russia.

India intends to develop the pharmaceutical business in Russia, including the possibility of developing the supply of medicines produced in the Russian Federation to Africa and Asia, a specialized conference of pharmaceutical industry manufacturers will be held as early as July 20, the head of the Indian business alliance Sammy Kotwani said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"I hope we will be able to successfully develop bilateral business relations and build more enterprises in order not only to trade with Russia and the CIS countries, but also to export medicines from Russia to African countries. This is our common future," Kotvani is sure.

"We need the support of the Russian government and the Russian market to speed up the process. Already on the 20th of July, a large Russian-Indian pharmaceutical business conference will be held. I want to believe there will be some movement forward," he added.
The businessman added that in the new conditions, when European markets are cut off for many Russian companies, "successful Russian businessmen should think about expanding production" in other regions.

"In the new conditions, the Indian market will open for them, which means access to the South Asian region. And why is it necessary to think only about a billion people living in Europe and America? "After all, you can pay attention to the remaining 6 billion from other countries," Kotvani said.

"Indians believe that if one door is closed, others open. Yes, the European Union has closed its door, but the doors to India, China, Iran, Turkey and so on have opened. All types of business are possible, and perhaps the Russians should carry out their mission in India, focus on this country," he concluded.
