These words, which are difficult to disagree with, belong to the great Russian writer, poet and the first laureate of the Nobel Prize in Literature from Russia (1933) - to Ivan Bunin. He created unsurpassed examples of Russian prose and poetry, which became classical during his lifetime. Today we celebrate the birthday of Ivan Bunin, whose works are considered one of the pillars of world literature.
