Meet new film in Dehancer!
Cinestill 800T is a modern photographic film based on the Kodak Vision 3 500T. To allow development with the standard C-41 process, this movie film is treated by removing the anti-halation layer and stabilizing the emulsion with a special solution. Because of the differences between the C-41 and the original ECN-II processes, Cinestill recommends to expose the modified film as ISO 800 (instead of 500).
Cinestill differs from the original, untreated film in grain, obvious halation, higher contrast, cool shadows, and red-orange colors in the midtones. The film is best suited for evening and night scenarios with point light sources in the scene.
Cinestill 800T profile becomes especially expressive and authentic with Halation, Bloom, Grain and Vignette effects.
