Renoir and Picasso definitely knew their stuff when using lighter colors. This is why you could see yellow, red, orange and adjacent hues in their paintings quite often. Although previously we mentioned that to achieve better saturation, one should walk “the darker alleys”, but some lighter colors can bring both lightness and intensity to an image.
