Delegated-Proof-of-Stake is the consensus algorithm on which the CWD Global platform operates. DPoS is a variation of Proof-of-Stake, with reduced blockchain response time and improved throughput. In Delegated-Proof-of-Stake, new blocks are generated at a fixed rate with minimal computational requirements.
One block is produced by a single witness and validated by twenty block validators.
The algorithm is based on the ability to vote with coins from an electronic wallet. Users cast their vote to a pre-selected delegate.
