The legendary Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto is believed to be 48 years old, at least according to information provided by the global P2P Foundation network.
While the identity of Bitcoin's creator and therefore his birthday remains unknown to the public, crypto-enthusiasts continue to engage in various speculations. For instance, a parallel is drawn that Satoshi chose this controversial date as his birthday because the US government banned individual storage of gold on April 5, 1933 in order to support the US dollar.
Members of the crypto space continue to honour him and congratulate him in every way possible. A bronze image of the creator of Bitcoin was displayed for visitors of Graphisoft Park in Budapest in 2021, and many people annually introduce Satoshi as the Nobel Prize winner for economic science.
And of course, speculation about the true identity of the person or persons who helped create the original cryptocurrency has become a popular pastime among many users. Among the suggested names are computer scientist and Bit Gold creator Nick Szabo, one of the original BTC participants Hal Finney, cryptographer Adam Beck and Japanese-American engineer and physicist Dorian Nakamoto.
