The world's deepest mailbox is 10 meters (32,8 ft) deep in Japan.
In the fishing town of Susami, Japan, there is a mailbox that is 10 meters (32.8 ft) deep. In order to send a letter, a postcard (of course, the item must be waterproof; the ink with which you sign the item must also be water-resistant), you have to dive to the depth, find the mailbox and stick the item in a special slot.
The mailbox was installed in 1999 and since then, 32,000 pieces of mail have passed through it.
