Hunters in Utah began to complain about the lack of elk during the hunting season. Out of habit, they wanted to write this into climate change, but the study came up with funny results.
By attaching GPS sensors to the moose, the scientists found that with the start of the hunting season, moose begin to hide on the private land of farmers where hunting is prohibited. And after the end of the season, they again go to public lands. This causes dissatisfaction among the owners of private land, tired of moose raids. But it clearly demonstrates that the animal world knows how to adapt.
